Story
I am taking part in the Ullswater Ultra Challenge on Saturday 18th August 2016.
We will be starting at Patterdale hike up Helvellyn, one of England's highest peaks, ascending via the ridge line scramble on Stridling Edge and descending by the Swirrel Edge. Ascent - 810m, distance - 11.5k.
We will then be swapping our walking boots for a seat in a kayak and start out on a 12km multi-adventure journey on Ullswater.
We will stop off at a variety of locations for various challenges including an abseil down the cliff, before returning to our Kayak to reach the finish line.
We are doing this for our chose charity EducAid. They run an educational network comprising of free schooling, teacher training and tertiary programmes in Sierra Leone. They provide distinctive, personalised, top-quality, holistic education and support to vulnerable your Sierra Leoneans.
By reaching our target we will be able to provide Education, Food and Medial Care for 20 pupils for a whole year.
