Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of you know I consider myself to be a good swimmer, possibly better than the average, however some of you also know that I am scared of being in open water, previously I've only ever been in the sea at the beach, and even then I'm convinced a shark will come and get me!  So the swim leg of the London Triathlon is going to be a true personal challenge, 1.5km in the Royal Victoria Docks behind the Excel Centre (I'm really scared that there are eels in there who are going to nip at my feet!), not to mention all the other swimmers bashing into me etc (have you ever seen a triathlon swim on TV, they're brutal!).

It would be great if you can sponsor me through this (ordeal) swim to raise money for Age International - the project that I hope to be able to support gives older people in developing countries cataract operations that restore their sight, this is surely one of the best things you can give to someone.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
