The EGA wing at UCLH is where Robert's condition was first diagnosed, where we went for all our follow up scans, and where he was safely delivered. The highly skilled team did an excellent job of mobilising all the staff and resources they needed as he was born, to ensure he was stabilised as quickly as possible after birth, reducing the risk of him lacking oxygen.
The charity needs support to help fund incubators for babies and vital research into heart conditions. We are eternally grateful to EGA for ensuring Robert was delivered safely, and all the equipment and resources were available to keep him alive until his heart could be fixed when he was a bit stronger.
