Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

The challenge I've set myself is to make 8 ascents of Cairnsmore of Fleet (in SW Scotland) over 4 consecutive days in June, with a total climb of 5,200 m. This is the equivalent to climbing Mt Kilimanjaro from its base on the Tanzanian plains. I won’t be fighting through rainforest, meeting dangerous animals, camping on a volcano or struggling with altitude sickness, but to increase the challenge I’ll be taking 4 different routes up Cairnsmore, including the rugged terrains of the eastern and southern approaches where there are no paths. And I'll be doing it twice a day!
