In memory of Jenny O'leary
We provide vital care to patients with life-limiting illnesses.

Story

Jenny O'Leary sadly died on Wednesday 19th March 2014 after being diagnosed in early 2013 with incurable lung cancer. Throughout, she dealt with her illness with great bravery and dignity and, until quite recently, managed to lead a full life. More recently the illness took hold and reduced her quality of life to the extent that it was her wish that she had a peaceful end which she did, surrounded by her immediate family.

Jenny was cared for at St Catherine's Hospice in Crawley during her illness, initially making use of the individual and group counselling services, and eventually returning for medical support and care. The medical and nursing staff at St Catherine's were truly incredible, supporting not just Jenny but our entire family. It was therefore Jenny's wish that friends donate to the hospice rather than send floral tributes.
