Story
When I mentioned to my pal Daisy that this weekend was the annual walk for the churches trust she said: "surely a year hasn’t passed already!" and "but I still feel guilty about the last time". Well, it is a year and I wouldn't want anyone to feel guilty if they do not donate to this annual sponsored ramble round some of Norfolk's treasurable churches (the county has hundreds and hundreds of very fine pre-Reformation churches, many of which require money just to keep them standing).
This year's walk will take in Worstead (scores 2), then Honing, Crostwight, Ridlington (2), Witton, Edingthorpe, Knapton (2), Swafield, Bradfield, Antingham (2, if we can make it) and then home, roughly 18-miles in all. Sadly, the forecast is for torrential rain but as the sun has shone these past few years we can’t complain.
If you do feel you can support me either by the mile, the church or a lump sum, then that would be grand. If you are out of funds then do keep me and my dear walking companions in your thoughts.
