In September I will be starting my gap year with the BMS Action Team programme, which is a christian gap year for 18-23 year olds. I start training in September and then travel to Bangladesh in October and return in April. 

Whilst in Bangladesh I will be contributing to the continuing activities of the Bangladesh Baptist Church, this includes helping with education projects and ministry aimed at children and young people. My team and I will spend half our time in Dhaka and the other half in different projects around the country; here we will help in various schools with lessons in English , I.T., and christian teaching. There is also an opportunity to aid in a school for the blind and partially sighted as well as helping in a compound that includes a church, the Baptist District Office, a pre-school, a weekly medical clinic and a retreat centre.

I would be extremely grateful for any donations which would support the cost of this trip, any prayer for my team and I throughout this time would be wonderful! Thank you!

 The money donated through JustGiving is going directly to BMS World Mission. This money will count towards the £4450 that I have to raise as a contribution towards the total cost of the programme.
