In memory of James Brynin

Story

Many soldiers currently based in Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan have teamed up to set a challenge to raise money in memory of LCpl James Brynin.

The 'To the Bitter End' challenge involves us teaming up through the duration of our tours, covering the distance from our base in Afghanistan to RAF Brize Norton.  The distance we will cover is 7,344km (4,563 miles) and we will be doing this throughout the next few months on pieces of gym equipment (treadmill/bike/rower).  It works out roughly as each team member completing 10 miles a day, every day, for 3 months!

We are doing this to mark the last operational Herrick (Op Herrick 20) and in memory of the one year anniversary of Jay Brynin who was killed in Afghanistan on 15th Oct 2013.
