Classrooms in the clouds- Nepal project, 19 November 2016
We build schools and sponsor teachers to help the poorest communities in Nepal

Story

I'm Jess, a 15 year old fire cadet. A group of 20 cadets and I are going out to Nepal in November 2015 to help finish off and hand over a project in which we funded. The project is to build a new school in Solu Khumbu providing an affordable and accessible education to the children living there. Individually, each cadet needs to raise £3,000 to fund the project. Nepal is the 12th most illiterate country in the world with an illiteracy rate of 54.9% for men and 72% for women, this school would improve the lives of so many children living in Nepal and allow them a better future.
