Fundraising for Girlguiding Anglia
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm fundraising to raise money towards an international Guide trip to Fiji next year. Ill be taking 9 girls away for 4 weeks next summer, 3 of these weeks will be spent working on a community service project in Fiji and the other will be spent travelling.
Whilst there the girls will take an active part in the community, help within local schools and nurseries and learn about the Fijian culture and way of life. The girls will also have the opportunity to see some of the island's natural beautiful beaches and trek into it's rainforest. This is an unique experience for the girls and one I can't wait to help lead.
I am one of 3 leaders that are taking 9 Guides on an international trip to Fiji next year. I started my journey in Guiding when I was 5 and joined Rainbows, and I have now been a Guide leader for 10 years both in Suffolk and more recently in Oxford. When I was younger I was given the opportunity to travel internationally with Guiding through Anglia international selection. It was thanks to the organisation of the leaders that this trip was possible, and I am now very excited that as a Guide leader myself I am able to help lead a trip abroad and give younger girls the opportunity I once had when I was Guide.
In order to take this opportunity I need to raise £4500 each, so I need your help! I would appreciate any financial help you can give. Thank you
