Story
Many of you will remember that in 2008 I went to Muyembe in rural eastern Uganda and lived there for 3 months - a life changing experience for me. I am now fortunate enough to be going back again at Easter - this time taking with me my sister, Isobel - my niece, Jo (13) and my nephew, Jake (14). They will get the chance to see for themselves what rural African life is like. We will be visiting many of the people I met, including the schools - Jill's Nursery and of course the Muyembe Playground that many of you helped me to build. Once there they will be participating in voluntary work - such as Packing up Mama Bags; Rugby Coaching and joining in other school activities. All their costs are covered by the family, but both of them are busy raising donations through a number of school events. I know many of you donated generously before - but I would really like to help Jo & Jake's fund raising activities. I would love it if you would donate a small amount towards African Village Support on behalf of us all.
