As most of you know i lost my Dad John Beckett last year. He suffered from Vascular Dementia & wanted to remain in his own home for as long as possible & with the help of Billy my brother & carers he was able to just that till he was taken ill & had his final days in hospital

This why i am doing Dry January to raise  awareness & hopefully some funds to go to a local charity that helps to encourage and enable older people to remain in their own homes and retain their independence for as long as they wish and are able to do so.
