I will be cycling with Vicky Carress 100k through London in aid of Women V Cancer on May 28^th, this is our first attempt at a cycling challenge and are now embarking on our training (now that the weather is better – fair weather cyclists!).  

We are hoping to raise as much money as possible for Women v Cancer, who support Breast Cancer Care, Ovarian Cancer Action & Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust.

This disease has touched my life far too often, I lost my Mum when I was 22, after a very long battle.  Then in 2005 I was also diagnosed with breast cancer, but pleased to say have fully recovered.  Unfortunatley in January, my sister Karen received the shocking news that she also had breast cancer, so this in memory of my lovely Mum, for my sister and so many other strong women friends that I know at work & home fighting thier own battle with this horrid disease.

We know that all the money raised towards vital research, has contributed immensely, not just to my life, but to so many others who will also recover to lead normal lives.
