Having never been a running person ever before in my life, or even being remotely interested in participating in any sport, I decided I wanted to achieve getting round a half marathon before i became 40 - well I turn 40 in October!!!!! So I thought I had better put my money where my mouth was and start training and enter myself!!!!

I chose to raise money for A Siblings Wish because it truly is a very special and unique newly created charity, in memory of a local boy Harvey Hext. His family have been through unimaginable pain and heartache, and have been inspirational in creating this charity in his memory.
