Story
It seems I cannot hide from it any longer, on the 17th April 2016 I will be stomping the streets of Brighton for a total of 26.2miles. Partly because I am crazy but mainly because in September 2009 my oldest childhood friend (pictured above) was diagnosed with the dreaded 'C' word. Natalie underwent major surgery and after a lot of treatment and a long recovery she beat it....only for it to return in September 2015. She once again had a massive operation which resulted in her losing half her lung. Natalie has a very rare form of cancer called ACC which can "make home" where is wants and most sadly when it wants.
Natalie is an absolute inspiration, beautiful inside and out and the best mum to her gorgeous little girls. I decided I wanted to help raise as much as I can, by running as far as I can (believe me I cannot run any further!!) in support of her and also thousands of others that go through hell from this disease. I am so proud to call her my friend.
Natalie said to me recently..."this is my life and I will tell it as a story..." Please Please Please help make this a never ending story.
Thank you so much for your support
