Following the diagnosis of what is considered a rare cancer in June 2014,  I underwent surgery to remove the tumour and necessary recontruction work, along with the removal of associated lymph nodes.  I am taking part in this challenge as I want to help raise the profile of Head and Neck cancers and the importance of early diagnosis.  Along with a thank you to the team that have treated and supported me along this journey.  Your donations will help provide the Maxillofacial Team with the necessary training and equipment to help develop the understanding and treatment of these type of cancers and support and help people like me.
