Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Do you know how it feels to have to leave your loved 1's bedside night after night, not knowing that if they take a turn for the worse you might not make it back in time to be with them when they slip from this world?  I sincerely hope the answer is no. This is what happened to myself and my family every night for 17 nights. It's so hard to accept that the king of our family has gone. He wasn't even poorly. A freak accident left me and my sisters without our dad, my mum without her husband and my children and nieces and nephews without their grandad. This year we would love to give something back to the Walton centre for all the amazing care my dad and we received, up until the end where he was allowed to pass with dignity. Watching my hero die was the hardest thing I've ever done. At Walton everyone was amazing, but for me, 1 nurse, sue McLean went the extra mile and I'll never be able to thank her for what she did for us. The horsley critical care unit staff worked relentlessly to bring my dad back to us but sadly he couldn't be saved. The angels were claiming him back. We want to raise money to fund waltons home from home appeal which would of been a godsend to our family and will certainly help others. Please help us to make a difference. You never know when you might need this amazing place. Please dig deep xxx

Thanks again Walton xxx
