Hello Friends and Family
Through my work I have chosen to help raise money for Millwall Community Trust by Jumping out of a plane from 12 Thousand feet(12 Shards high). I am doing this with 11 other member of staff from the Millwall family and one other special guest whose bio is below:
Lions fan Stephen Kilty is undertaking a daunting charity challenge as he attempts to raise £10,000 for Millwall Community Trust.
The 21-year-old is a regular on the Trust’s Disability Sports programme and will, along with 12 members of staff, be doing a sky dive in October to help raise funds for a new mini bus.
Stephen has loved playing football his whole life but during his early teenage years coaches at a local club gave up on him because he didn’t like to share the ball. Not long after turning 14, Stephen was statemented with autism and had to change schools, but that did little to dampen his enthusiasm for the beautiful game.
After a spell playing for Margate he began to get involved with Millwall Community Trust’s disability programme. Along with his twin brother Dominic, they approached coach Ben Perryman with details of their bid to raise money for a mini bus so that others wanting to get involved but without the necessary means of transport could do so.
