Shelter Cymru is a
Wales's people and homes charity. A decent, secure home is a fundamental right for every individual. It is a sobering thought as we snuggle in our warm beds on a winter night there are people sleeping on our streets on a friend’s sofa, staying in a hostel, or living in overcrowded or unsuitable accommodation. I became more aware of this charity when I was encouraged at the eleventh hour to take on the challenge of Ride to the Rugby in 2016, 170 odd miles from Cardiff to Dublin in February, I am now planning to cycle the Carten on May7^th and the Velothon on May 22^nd. Every day 10 children in Wales face homelessness and I am subjecting this overweight plethoric Irishman to complete these cycles so Shelter Cymru can support more families across Wales at risk of losing their homes or living in poor housing conditions. So come on guys and girls please sponsor me today, I know many of us have sponsor fatique but this is really good charity and is close to home!!!
