I am delighted to be able to run the London Marathon for FRU as they are unsung heroes providing access to justice for people who cannot afford to pay for lawyers. FRU helps so many people who have been treated unfairly by their employers. Without FRU's assistance these people would have no real hope of presenting their case in an Employment Tribunal which would result in many (perhaps an entire segment of society) being unable to seek redress for a wrong suffered. Needless to say it often those who are most vulnerable who most need assistance. FRU does fantastic work filling this gap in the justice system by providing free legal assistance.

The first case I took to a tribunal was a case I worked on as a volunteer for FRU. This was an exhilarating experience for me but much more importantly the client was able to access assistance from a person who had been legally trained (me!) and was able to challenge his dismissal by his employer; in other words he was able to get justice! This simply would not have been possible for this client if FRU didn't exist.

So come on, sponsor me. And I also have to run a marathon to earn your sponsorship which I believe is fairly challenging!
