A few months ago I somewhat stupidly entered a mountain race that involved running over 4 summits with 29km of trails and 8000 feet of climbing in between. Now the day of the race on Sept 17th looms ever closer, I have decided that I’d like to run this not only for the personal challenge but also to raise a little money for a good cause.
I will be donating all sponsorship money raised to the Highland based charity Feis Rois.  Feis Rois run cultural events across Scotland that help to enrich lives of people both young and old.  They continue to do some amazing work including working with children in care, those with special needs and those who come from challenging backgrounds.    Having been to Feis Rois events myself for many years I know that musical and cultural opportunities can change lives and give self esteem and confidence to those that require a wee leg up. Any donations are most welcome and will allow Feis Rois to continue all the fantastic work they do. Thank you :-)
