We provide care to 3,000 patients a year to comfort patients in their final days

Story

St John’s Hospice is an independent charity providing palliative care to 3000 terminally ill patients and their families every year.

John moved to St John’s in February and from the moment he arrived he was treated with incredible care and compassion.  The hospice is beautifully calm, even in the midst of turmoil and grief.  John passed peacefully holding Dolly’s hand and surrounded by his family.  Rather than a terrifying or painful end to such a brave battle it was peaceful, serene and dignified thanks to the amazing nurses caring for him.  We can’t repay them for the care and love they showed ‘gentleman John’, or the wonderfully comforting environment they created.  What we would like to do is raise money to support their amazing work and help other families in similar situations.

Dolly has requested donations to be made in lieu of floral tributes for anyone wishing to do so, in memory of our wonderful and forever loved John.
