Dan and I managed to get across the Bay last year, and we "enjoyed" it so much that we're taking up the challenge of swimming the 13km again this year. We've even convinced another couple of friends to join in. 

The water temperature is approximately 14 degrees Celsius in July and the weather conditions are unpredictable. We'll be trying not to disturb swimming seals while avoiding jellyfish and passing vessels.
