Eighteen months ago, our family was deeply saddened by the death of my Aunt, Sally, after a number of years battling cancer. Sally fought the disease for a number of years with a smile on her face, in part helped by the fantastic staff at the Walsall Breast Cancer Support Group.

The WBCSG is a totally self-funded enterprise which provides invaluable support to breast cancer victims. The group runs support sessions and offers other activities such as exercise sessions, beauty and nail treatments, aiming to provide some respite from the pains of cancer.

I'll be running the Birmingham Half Marathon in memory of Sally, raising money for the WBCSG. Any donations would be greatly welcomed in order to allow the WBCSG to do more for women like Sally who unfortunately are diagnosed with breast cancer.
