Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page for our little boy, Jonah. This has been setup by his parents, Katie and Daniel Rose.

Jonah was born prematurely at only 25 weeks and 3 days on 16/10/15 at Barnsley Hospital. He was in a critical state from birth due to his early arrival and a severe hole in his right lung which was releasing oxygen, causing him distress with breathing. Jonah was placed on a support ventilator and closely looked after by an amazing team. Barnsley hospital were incredible with the way they dealt with Jonah and his parents. Due to his extreme pre-term arrival, Barnsley had to have Jonah transferred to Bradford Royal infirmary as Barnsley only accommodate 28weeks+ arrivals. 

Bradford picked up Jonah's care and were incredible with assisting his levels and performance. Sadly, Jonah's condition worsened and the doctors informed his parents that he would not survive, this resulting in his bedtime on 20th October 2015.

Jonah is Katie and Daniel's first child and will remain with them in their heart and soul each and every day. Both parents are determined to raise money to support the Tiny Hearts Appeal at Barnsley hospital as they looked after Jonah upon arrival, and remain as support for bereaved parents such as Katie and Daniel. 

Fundraising events will be held across each year, these will be visible upon this page. We will remain to increase our target should each amount be achieved.
