I have volunteered to take part in a charity Fire Walk on 5th November 2016, on behalf of Harrogate Neighbours Housing Association.

HNHA, which provides care for elderly people either in extra care housing or residential care is aiming to raise funds for an independent bathing facility and a wet room for their residents.

The organisation, which is funded primarily by charitable donations and fundraising, has already raised a portion of the total and the charity walk on fire that I am completing forms part of a final push towards the full figure.

At Total Foodservice we are committed to supporting our customers by putting their business at the heart of ours. So when HNHA asked me if I could support them by raising funds through the sponsored Fire Walk, I accepted the challenge and was very excited to take part. It is great to be able to raise funds for such a worthwhile cause, but you don’t have any idea how scared I actually am!
