We are raising much needed funds to help fight Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy

Story

Just over two years ago I met Andy Johnson (father of Jack) who spoke about the appaling news that his son had just been diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Duchenne is a terrible muscle wasting disease that effects only boys and has devestating consequences and a very short life expectancy of around 22 years.

Jacks parents are determined to do everthing possible to find a cure for all boys with Duchenne and have displayed remarkable determination to help find a cure and or a prevention of the decline. I have been inspired by them and Jack to do everything I can to help, I believe that enough progress can be made so that Jack and other boys like him can at the very least enjoy growing older.
My company and staff have been commited to suppoting the charity for the last 18 months and so I felt it was only right that this year I should lead from the front.
