The Laugavegur Ultra Marathon is a 55km mountain race that will take place for the 20th time on Saturday 16/7/16

Laugavegur is located in the southern highlands of Iceland, 4 hrs on and offroad from Rekjavik and spans 2 nature reserves. Due to its remote location it is only serviced for a few weeks each year

Hikers normally cover the distance in 4 days and we will endeavour to run it in 1. The course is an incredible mix of multi-terrain; sand, gravel, grass, snow, ice, rivers and streams all across active geothermal landscapes. You can find out more at http://marathon.is/ultramarathon

The Priaulx Premature Baby foundation does much more than its name suggests.
