Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In 2013, Noa and I took some time out and volunteered for the charity, Cherish Uganda. They've built a village on the shores of Lake Victoria and care for vulnerable Ugandan children who have been orphaned or abandoned because they've got HIV. Children living with HIV are often considered the 'least of the least' as they are often overlooked or unseen. Cherish Uganda has created a really special place where not only the children's needs are met but they're able to flourish and plan for a bright future.
The charity not only provides love, families, homes and healthcare for these children but they've also built a school and hospital for the local community and their work focuses on changing perceptions about HIV.
On the 6th August, I've decided to do the London Triathlon to raise money and awareness. It's my first triathlon and an olympic one at that. Please spur me on by donating what you can!
Thanks so much. Jon
