Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
If you have seen me on a bike you will know I am not built for this form of transport and exercise (think Bowser from Mario Kart on a bike) but I have set myself the challenge of cycling from London to Brighton. It's for a great cause (see below) and if you donate you will be make a genuine difference to less fortunate people in Latin America (which I am sure loads of you have visited and loved but have seen there are people there who need our help).
The LATA Foundation are an entirely voluntary run organisation and the charitable arm of the Latin America Travel Association.
They raise money throughout the year to fund projects such as free dental care for deprived children in the slums of Buenos Aires, vocational training program for women who have been victims of domestic abuse in Panama City, rehabilitation centre for the endangered squirrel monkey in Costa Rica as well as a huge tree planting initiative in Peru, among many more.
Please do take a look at our website for more info on these projects plus all the others: www.latafoundation.org If you'd like to sponsor me please click below and give what you can. All money raised goes directly to the projects the Foundation supports.
