Story
Hi my name is Kiswahili. Kiswahili is African meaning "the coast". I am here to raise money for a charity called Raise The Roof. The hearts I carry were made by people who participated in Hearts In Progress.
Each heart was donated so that artist Joyce Treasure could make me; a mixed media 3D art piece. I am the finished object. To own me I invite you to make a bid through a blind auction. Your bid should be emailed to bid@joycetreasure.co.uk with Kiswahili as the subject and your bid in the body of the email. Including your name, tel number and your email details. Bids close on the 30th June and the winning bid will be informed by the 4th July.
OR simply donate to help me raise money. Every £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10 counts, so please just give:
Or simply text JTFB81 with the amount you wish to donate to 70070
I love the camera so share photos of me with all your social media friends, as they may donate too. #heartinprogress
Please take 5-mins and watch the “learn more” video to get a broader understanding of Raise The Roof’s aims and achievements: http://youtu.be/TFdOjG8Pm9I
I will be on display touring various spots in London and you can come and visit me. To find out where I will be, please visit the Heart In Progress facebook page:
