Colin and I are celebrating 40 years of marriage in September 2016 and felt we would like to raise money for The Arthrogryposis Group, which is a charity very close to our hearts.  As you may know, our daughter Claire was the first in our family to present with difficulties and 34 years ago it was a struggle to find any answers.  Although we were told that the condition was not hereditary, this proved not to be the case and it was a shock when Claire had her own children, Caitlin and Isaac, to see that both are affected.   It would appear that this condition will continue to go down her  blood line, until maybe one day the reason for the cause is discovered.  TAG was very supportive to us when Claire was little and it was encouraging to feel that we were not alone.  Claire, Caitlin and Isaac benefit from TAG's support and the knowledge it has gained over the years.  Claire is now involved directly and would like to support TAG even more once she has qualified as a children's nurse.

To our guests who may be thinking of buying us a Ruby wedding anniversary present, we would very much appreciate a donation to this wonderful charity.

A celebration with you is what we would like, And to party with you into the night.  But if a gift to us is on your mind, Then a donation would be very kind.
