Story
I went to a wedding in Israel last year and my parents banned me from talking about numerous different subjects, so when an old family friend asked me what my interests were I had to make something up quick.
I've now realized that cycling a few miles to Arsenal every other week, so as to not have to pay the train fare does not constitute an interest in cycling.
Having misheard London to Brussels as London to Brighton I am now committed to this horrendous 240 mile bike ride.
Now fully stocked up on padded pants it's time to raise some dosh.
The Langdon Ambassadors cycling from London to Brussels are, between us, aiming to raise £25,000 towards the costs of building the Quadrant, a new facility which will provide three self contained apartments, a training centre and a social centre for young adults with learning disabilities.
If you are interested in finding out more about Langdon's work visit www.langdonfoundation.org.uk.
I am meeting all my own travelling expenses for the trip, so every penny of your sponsorship pledge will be donated to Langdon.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to Langdon and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for Langdon.
So please dig deep and donate now to help me reach my personal target of raising £2,000 for Langdon.
