Story

Hi, I'm Julian, I live in the Yorkshire Dales, and I'm participating in the Release Abseil Challenge taking place on 2nd of July 2016.

Picture 2 shows the site of the challenge, the Northampton Lift Tower, which is (apparently) the tallest permanent abseil tower in the world! It stands at 127 meters in height - gulp!!

Being dutch in origin I'm quite partial to my flat-lands and not so keen on heights (understatement). I didn't want to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower and felt a tad dodgy up the Blackpool Tower, especially coming across its see-through glass floor!!

However, this is small fry in deed compared to the challenge faced by persecuted Christians around the world, persecuted for their faith! Go to the Release International website at www.releaseinternational.org to read their stories.

Please support my small fry challenge by posting your donation online - helping persecuted Christians worldwide!
