We help people with mental health problems to still achieve their ambitions.

Story

Climbers;

Jen grant, April tume, Kay Saib, Clare Springall, Hadyn Wookey & Julie Kirby x

We are the CAMHS home treatment team in Kent and Medway.  We are a 24/7 service that operates to provide young people in crisis an alternative to hospital admission.  With our support, young people can be cared for at home with their families/carers and receive intensive support from a specialist team.

As a team we identified that young people often have to wait long periods of time when they do require hospital admission.  This is often a traumatic and stressful time for the young person and their family/carers.  On occasions it is necessary for the young person to stay on a paediatric ward or in the designated Section 136 suite for long periods.  With the help of young people, we have identified a wish list of items that would make this wait more bearable.  So far this includes items such as electronics, books, board games etc

Therefore the team have decided to climb Mount Snowdon to raise these funds and would appreciate your support
