This is going to be my first official 5k run on Sunday Dec 14th, and I am glad to be doing it during Christmas which is a season for giving. I am happy to state that all the proceeds of the event will go straight to the sponsored local charities ( Duchess of Kent Hospice & Alexander Devine Children Hospice) and not to sponsor my run, as event participation costs are covered by me.

I hope we can all contribute in our own little way and receive the joys of giving during this happy season.
