We provide access to medical support to people living in rural Ethiopia

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our page to support our medical team taking part in Project Harar's 2016 Complex Surgical Mission.

From the beginning of June we will be part of an International and Ethiopian medical team. We will be volunteering two weeks of our time to treat and care for children, women and men in Ethiopia with severe facial conditions.

Our team will work side by side with Ethiopian staff and local services in Addis Ababa to help bring back our patients smiles and create opportunities so they can live their lives to their full potential.

So who are we?

  • Matt Fell - Surgical trainee at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London
  • Vinny Patel - Oral Surgery Specialist at Guy's Hospital, London
  • Calum Honeyman - Surgical Trainee at Southmead Hospital, Bristol
  • Tessa Glyn - Medical Trainee at King's College Hospital, London
  • Dave Higgie - GP Trainee, Bristol
  • Sam Trowbridge - Surgical Trainee at King's College Hospital, London
  • Harry Tustin - Surgical Trainee at Cheltenham General Hospital
  • Lucy Lester - Surgical Trainee at Lister Hospital, Stevenage

We are all training in the NHS and want to take this chance to use our skills to help rural patients to have life changing surgery in Ethiopia.

Your support will help us to do this.

Thank you.
