Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page to raise money for Hope for Tomorrow.
Most people shave their heads to support cancer charities in solidarity or sympathy with patients undergoing Chemotherapy. In true 'TEPPER' style, I have decided to go completely in reverse.
On the 1st Feb 2015, I had my head shaved (excluding eyebrows) and removed a beard that had adorned by face for nine years. The objective was not to shave or cut my hair for a year, not even a trim.
This is all in aid of Hope For Tomorrow, a national cancer charity dedicated to getting treatment to people rather than the other way round.
I was moved by the stories of patients traveling 4 hours on public transport, having treatment and then travelling 4 hours home again. Realising that this was wrong, I wanted to do something to help. Being the crazy fool that I am I chose not to shave for a year.
Thank you for your support.
