The family have decided that donations in lieu of flowers would be appreciated to remember Karen.  

We have chosen to support two funds of the Royal Free Charity, the fundraising charity for the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead where Karen received treatment for the twelve years since she was diagnosed with a NET.

The Neuroendocrine Tumour Unit (F311) uses funds to maintain it's research programme into the causes, diagnosis and treatment of the cancer and to support patient care. 

The Massage Therapy team (F270) is supported entirely by donations. Massage therapy reduces stress and anxiety, lowers blood pressure and provides patients with an additional ability to cope with their condition. Seeing Keith for a massage and a chat when she had to visit the hospital always brought a smile to her beautiful face.
