We fund special projects and facilities to enhance the experience of SWBH patients

Story

As you will know, Alex was born 11 weeks prematurely on 1st April 2015. He spent time in 3 neonatal units, the last of these was SCBU at Birmingham City Hospital.

During the time I spent travelling to and from City Hospital, the Birmingham 10K was on and I got lost in the diversions making me really angry.

Since Alex has been out of hospital I've lost over 2 stones in weight and I've got myself into a bit of a better shape. This year, instead of being angry about the diversions I'll be running on the roads and raising money for the Neonatal Unit at Birmingham City Hospital (the umbrella charity have assured me that anything that I raise will be diverted there).
