Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My friends and family will know that running is not my forte so taking part in the GNR will be a massive achievement. My son Jamie was a strong runner, fast and furious and this was evident on the rugby field! He didn't like distance running but ran for the county in the 200 & 400 metres, relay and long jump. I've been volunteering in the Charity Village for over ten years now looking after the Grace House runners so the tables are really turned this year when I'll actually be taking part. It might take me hours but I'm hoping that with strength of will and determination and maybe some training will help get me across the finish line.
Whatever you can spare will be a great help to Grace House who provide short break and respite care to children and young people who live in the North East and have a complex disability, health need or life threatening or limiting condition. Many of these children have epilepsy the condition that took Jamie from us so cruelly and suddenly in December 2014 - thank you x
