Story

Liberty - Making people free is a registered charity working mainly in Nigeria. We give free medical checks to thousands on needy people. We offer them free medicines, free surgery and free cataract operations.

600 people formerly blind can now see. With a state of the art mobile operating theatre we could bring sight to so many more blind people. Our goal is to raise £80,000 so this dream could be a reality.

About the charity

Liberty is a charity registered under the New Covenant Church. We use the voluntary expertise of our many members to reach out to the poor and needy and those existing on subsistence level in many African villages. Liberty sets entire communities free body, mind and spirit using a 5 Fold Mission. To date we have built sixty village churches, primary schools, provided bursaries for education, established adult literacy classes, agriculture empowerment programmes, clean water and free healthcare in places where normally those without money to pay for these things have to go without. Through our modest work in Southern Nigeria we have seen whole communities changed however our vision is to reach the rest of Africa. Be part of the solution and support us in achieving this.
