Story
i love that feeling when ur so breathless that the rear side of your tongue are throbbing with the dent of panting. You've brought water but never enough as you thought it's be too heavy to carry any more. You're face is parallel to the ground with the steep climb you're angled at and you think it can't be any much nicer than the height you are at. Then you get to the top and the view is so breathtaking you forget the whole thing. Time for a rest, then down the mountain again, the shin bones they aren't' going to get away with it either. Count me in l'll be delighted after it and a few pints before a comatose state that i'd want to jump started out of Sunday...oh l can't wait ...all the reasons to come with us on this charity walk"
We are running a charity event for raise money for
http://bike4cambodia.com/
The aim is to raise money for the English Bootcamp they are running over there during February. We are planning to climb Carrauntoohil on the 15th of February.
100% OF DONATED MONEY GOES TO THE CAUSE - NONE GOES TO PAY FOR COSTS FOR VOLUNTEERS. They will raise this themselves.
They need to raise €2500 and we would like to help them succeed in this goal.
So if you have no plans for Valentine ’s Day and want to join us doing the climb for something different let me know and can send you on more details.
Or if you just want to donate something to some of normally non active people getting off our asses then that would be great as well…
All welcome and a few bevvies in the metropolis of Macroom afterwards sure it wont’ be us unless we did :-)
