Very soon I will be running 13 miles on behalf of my amazing friend Jenny and her gorgeous baby Sammy. Sam was born just before Christmas with a complex heart condition and weighing just 2lb4oz. He has already had a couple of operations and has several more to go, including open heart surgery and one on his skull.

He is the most beautiful and fun little boy and the Children's Heart Association have already done so much for Sammy and so many other families in difficult situations.

I am not a natural runner (and the training has not been fun!) but after Sam was born I knew I had to do something and signed up for the GNR! Thank you so much for your sponsorship, it will keep me going through the 13 miles....
