Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I lost my dad to prostate cancer almost 5 years ago and so I am running this years Belfast marathon in his memory.
My family are extremely appreciative of the support and care provided to my dad by his oncologist Professor Joe O'Sullivan and so I am raising funds to continue his research into this disease.
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer among males in the UK with 40,000 new diagnoses every year.
My aim is to raise much needed funds for the research team (prostate cancer) via the Queens University of Belfast Foundation in order to improve outcomes for men diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Thank you in advance for donating, your generosity will help make a real and meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by prostate cancer.
Thanks again xx
Kathryn
