Fundraising for Wolf Hirschhorn Syndrome Trust
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have decided to run another half marathon (7 years after running my last one) for Ollie B.
Oliver is my Godson and just over 2 years ago, when he was born, we were heartbroken to learn that he had Wolf Hirschhorn Syndrome which is a rare genetic condition. Ollie is expected to have several issues with his main organs, mobility and struggle to gain and maintain his weight. On top of all this he suffers from seizures (thankfully a rare occurrence). Ollie has love and support from his 2 fab Mummies, family and friends who are continually pushing him to achieve all the milestones that the doctors doubted that he would achieve. These milestones include sitting up, rolling over and being able to sing tunes (especially twinkle twinkle). Next stop... walking. He really is defying all the odds.
The charity benefits Ollie and his friends by funding research into the condition, specialist equipment and supplying grants to support national get togethers.
