We protect butterflies, moths and habitats to save threatened species from extinction

Story

This page has been setup in memory of Katie Winslett who passed away in March 2014, after being diagnosed with cancer 16 months earlier.  She was 34 years old.

Katie always had a love for nature and the environment.  Even from a young age she grew up in a house with her sister Emma where wildlife was no stranger.  They often fed tadpoles and caterpillars at the kitchen table!

Katie donated to the Butterfly Conservation as she had a genuine concern for dwindling numbers of butterflies, moths and bees in Britain.

It seems a fitting tribute to make a donation in her memory.
