As well as being a fabulous wife, mother and all round wonderful human being, Madeleine was also a keen supporter of several charities.  Having worked in her early career in medical research - specifically replacement surgery and transplantation - she was especially passionate about the great work of the International Medical Education Trust 2000 (IMET2000).  Through this charity we would like to honour her memory by sponsoring a postgraduate to study for a PhD at the Northwick Park Institute for Medical Research.  We feel Mum would be delighted to know that the work she was so proud to have been involved in would be continuing in her name in this way.  For every pound donated a benefactor of IMET2000 will match it, so please dig deep and donate now.
