Story
Hi everyone,
Next summer I will be travelling to Kisumu in Kenya to take part in the Kenyan Orphan Project (KOP) with other medical students from University of Nottingham. This is a great charity which works to improve the health and services of vunerable and orphaned children in Western Kenya. Before we go, I need to raise £800 which will go directly to the projects out there in order to buy equipment, materials and supplies which they so desperately need.
During our time in Kenya we will be teaching children about health and nutrition and assisting in construction and repairs of schools, feeding centres and health clinics.
As a team we have been fundraising through cake sales and bag packs. I would also like to thank Cox Green School and White Waltham Primary School for their support through non-uniform days.
