We purchase specialist equipment to help disabled children and adults

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We are doing a 10 mile challenge. 4 Mile Bike and Rickshaw, 6 mile hike on behalf of The Cystic Fibrosis Trust and Children in Need.

Cystic Fibrosis is a life-limiting, inherited condition caused by a faulty gene that controls the movement of salt and water in and out of the cells. This causes mucus to gather in the lungs and digestive system and creates a range of challenging symptoms.

More than 2.5 million people in the UK carry the faulty gene, around one in 25 of us - most without knowing it.

There is currently no cure for cystic Fibrosis but many treatments are available to manage it.

Not only are we raising money for Cystic Fibrosis, but half the amount raised will go to Children in Need, who have the vision that every child in the UK has a safe, happy and secure childhood and the chance to reach their potential.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
